Playing at the Emerald  Hotel Bangkok, Seu-uh Sooay (The Beautiful Shirts or, Bad Luck! Tiger!!! depending on how (in)competent you are in reproducing Thai linguistic tones!) featuring Mike Anderson (vocals, percussion), Derek Armstrong (guitar, harmonica, vocals) and "Jok" (Thai traditional instruments) entertain wedding guests with their unique renditions of classic pop songs from the Beatles through to Coldplay. The band has recently acquired two youthful classically-trained musicians, Richard Birse, a New Zealander on guitar and American Ms. Laisha Beckwith(Bangkok Opera) on violin. The oustanding technically proficient contribution of these two fine people has lifted the band to hitherto unclimbed musical levels, such that the old hands are gasping for air! We expect our enlarged and enhanced band to make some public appearances here in Bangkok during 2007.
